For IB and AB Students Only

We have started our annual "Pledge to Practice" drive for IB and AB members. Using the supplied envelop and form, students are asked to seek supporters to donate for each day the students meet their practice requirement. We ask that the students practice 5 out of 7 days a week. Intermediate Band students are expected to practice 20 minutes a day and Advanced Band students are expected to practice 30 minutes a day.
Students are encouraged to ask family and friends to support their practice habits. Below are some amounts that are recommended for supporters:
1 cent = 10 cents over ten days
5 cents = 50 cents over ten days
10 cents = $1 over ten days
25 cents = $2.50 over ten days
50 cents = $5 over ten days
$1 = $10 over ten days
$5 = $50 over ten days
Students are asked to turn in their completed envelopes to the band room with supporter donations inside on Monday, September 23rd. The money raised for this drive will be used to reduce the cost per student of the AB trip to Universal and to pay for a Pizza Social for IB members. Students with the highest practice times for woodwind, brass, and percussion per class will be recognized at the Winter Concert. We will also recognize students with the most amount turned in per class.
