For those of you who aren't/weren't able to attend the Pizza Sign Up Social or were unsure about which events you might be able to fit into your schedule, we're providing a list of events with dates (for those which are confirmed). The sign up sheets at the Pizza Social in August are just a start - we'll also be using the Sign Up Genius website program to do individual sign-ups online for each of our events.
We've attached some information about how Sign Up Genius works, but here's a brief summary to get you up to speed on this fantastic tool. We have created a sign up for every event such as the Pool Party. Simply Google "Sign Up Genius" or visit the Sign Up Genius website at: http://www.signupgenius.com/, then find the button that says "Find A Sign Up" and enter our email: firstname.lastname@example.org and you will see a list of sign ups for the Ainger Band. On each event page you will be able to see the needs for the event and sign up to either help out for a specific time or to provide a donation of food or supplies. If you've already signed up at the pizza social, our booster board will have put your name into Sign Up Genius and you should be getting a confirmation email.
As an event approaches, you will receive a confirmation email to remind you of what you signed up to help with. If you find you need to make a change, you can contact the Boosters via email at email@example.com.
Sign Up Genius is confidential, does not send you marketing emails, and will not sell your information or contact you for any reason except to confirm your sign up, so there's no need to worry about loss of privacy when using this website to volunteer.
