This event is for Jazz Band Members and 8th Grade Percussionists Only. Please read the newsletter below or click here. If your child cannot attend the event, please complete the excuse form and turn it in asap.
For Members of AB, PE, and JB
Students in Advanced Band, Percussion Ensemble, and Jazz Band received a solo packet along with the contract posted below. For students that want to participate, contracts and payments are due on Friday, March 4th. Please note, students that wish to perform in a small ensemble (duets, trios, etc.) MUST perform a solo.
Students that perform a solo will receive a Smiley Face Bead for each solo. Students that perform in an ensemble will receive a Dice Bead for each ensemble.

This year, Sydney Bowers (clarinet) and Monica Heeg (tuba) were selected by audition to perform with the 2022 All State Middle School Band!
The girls represented Ainger in the highest band in our state and played a variety of music for thousands of music educators, families, composers, and patrons on Saturday, January 15th at the Tampa Convention Center alongside the 9-10th grade and 11-12th grade High School All State Bands! Sydney and Monica only had a few days with extremely long rehearsals and very difficult music to prepare for the performance. Congrats to our Cougar Band Members who excelled and brought the audience to their feet!
