Tuba

The tuba is the largest of all band instruments, with the deepest and lowest voice. Tubas are always made of brass, and you usually sit down to play them, holding the tuba in your lap. The tuba section provides the bass sounds that support all of the other sounds that the band plays, making it the most important instrument in the band!  The sounds that the tubas produce give the band a rich, dark sound.
